Course of lectures on the discipline “Safety Management in the Hospitality Industry ”

The aim of studying the discipline: to form in students a holistic system of knowledge and practical skills in the use of modern scientific concepts, methods, requirements and practical experience in the field of safety management in the hospitality industry.

 

While studying the discipline, students should develop the following competencies:

  • to demonstrate an understanding of the meaning, specifics and functions of safety management in the hospitality industry as a special activity of a specialist with higher education in the field of restaurant and hotel business;
  • to explain the modern concepts, methods, models and rules of practice in the field of safety management, taking into account the specifics of enterprises in the hospitality industry;
  • to analyze the modern ideas, methods, models and rules of practice in the field of safety management, taking into account the specifics of enterprises in the hospitality industry;
  • to use the methodological approaches, methods, models and rules of practice for effective safety management, taking into account the specifics of enterprises in the hospitality industry of Kazakhstan;
  • to synthesize the sets of solutions and recommendations for organizing methodological and practical activities in the field of safety management, taking into account the specifics of restaurant and hotel business enterprises.
