Getting an education abroad is prestigious and advantageous. Chinese universities rank high globally in terms of opportunities and specialized education that can lead to well-paying jobs in both China and cooperating countries. We are thrilled to have the opportunity to study here. It will take some time to adjust to a different country, being far from home, and adapting to the new environment. Overall, the teachers and staff at Zhongnan University of Economics and Law are friendly and always ready to provide guidance and assistance. So, to the question of whether it's worth studying in China, our answer is definitely yes!

     The university where we are studying, Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, was founded in 1948 and is located in the Hubei province, in the city of Wuhan. The university has provided us an accommodation where we, Mariyamgul and Arailym, live together. The university campus is quite large (210 hectares), and students often use mopeds to get around because it takes a full 30 minutes to walk from one end to the other. During our first week, we tried to explore as much as possible and discovered many interesting places. Over these two weeks, we managed to visit all the popular spots on campus, as well as venture into the city center and visit the European District, which was built way back in 1910. 

     It was quite challenging to navigate the city without knowing the language and having no prior knowledge of the area. Fortunately, we were assisted by Zhanna, a fellow from Kazakhstan, who is pursuing her master's degree at our university. She helped us acclimate to the place and the language because, even with our level of proficiency, it was a bit difficult to understand their speech due to the various dialects.

      In this essay, we have tried to recount all the significant experiences we have had, but it's hard to put into words the feelings and everything we've been through. We believe that some things need to be lived to truly understand them. We are excited to have the opportunity to study and apply our language skills at Zhongnan University of Economics and Law.
