On November 11, 2022, within the framework of the project "Healthy Lifestyle", organized by senior advisors of the Higher School of Economics and Business, a meeting was held with teacher-psychologist Amangeldy Meirambekovich in order to prevent students from becoming addicted to tobacco, alcoholism and gambling.

On November 25, 2022, the Department of Economics of the Higher School of Economics and Business held a national subject Olympiad in the discipline "Microeconomics" at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

The purpose of the Olympiad is the formation of the intellectual potential of students, as well as the development of interest in scientific activities.

The department "Economics" organized a guest lecture on the discipline "Entrepreneurship". Speaker - Saken Kudiyarov, graduate of Durham University, head of business analytics department of Magnum Cash&Carry LLP. The speaker worked at Beeline Kazakhstan, RG Brands, FirstBIT, Vodafone, which we all know. The lecture was held on the topic "Analytics and digitalization of business processes". During the lecture, students learned about the importance of business analytics skills, the importance of econometric analysis and programming methods in business analytics, the importance of digitalization in increasing efficiency in the case of Magnum Cash&Carry LLP, and received answers to their questions.

There was a lecture with the employer and businessman Yeriyazov K.Sh. A lecture on the topic "The way to start a business".It was very interesting and exciting. The 1st year students of the HSEB consolidated their theoretical knowledge of the course "Entrepreneurship" with practical skills and life hacks from the speaker Kuanyshbek Shynbolatuly.The most remarkable thing of the morning event is the continuity of generations of the "special nation - KazGU-shniki". Today's speaker is a graduate of the KazNU Department of Economics. The meeting was fruitful, as the lecturer gave examples from his personal experience. Thus, he showed the students that the issue of small and medium-sized businesses will always be relevant.
