	Dear teachers of the Department of Economics Mukhamediyev Bulat Mintayevich, Tulegenova Madina Sakenovna, Kondybayeva Saltanat Kanapiyaevna received letters of thanks from the rector in honor of the day of scientific workers - April 12th.
	Candidate of Economic Sciences, Acting Professor of the Department of Economics Dauliyeva Galiya Rakhmetovna became the owner of the title " Best University Teacher 2020". The title of "Best University Teacher" was awarded to 150 people from 48 universities of the country. The winners of the competition are given the opportunity to undergo an internship at the world's leading universities in order to conduct research and improve their qualifications.
	PhD, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Economics Rakhmatullayeva Dinara Zhaksylykovna from November 7 to December 27, 2020 took an intensive online training “Game methods in education. Principles. Theory. Practice" and received a state-recognized certificate, as well as an additional certificate with distinction from the course author R. Krylov. The author of the course: R. Krylov, together with the State Autonomous Educational Institution of the Tyumen Region of Additional Professional Education "Tyumen Regional State Institute for the Development of Regional Education". A total of 101 participants from various universities in Russia and Kazakhstan took part.
	Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor of the Department of Economics Mukhamediyev Bulat Mintayevich was awarded the State Scientific Scholarship for scientists. State scientific scholarships are awarded to scientists and scientific workers actively involved in fundamental or applied research in priority areas for the state, and in the training of scientific personnel.
	Coordinator for DLT of the Higher School of Economics and Business, senior lecturer of the Department of Economics, Rakhmatullayeva Dinara Zhaksylykovna received a letter of thanks for the conscientious fulfillment of duties in high workload conditions in connection with the transfer of the educational process of the university to distance learning technologies from March 16, 2020 in connection with the COVID-19 pandemic.

Our Students Graduation: In the 2016-2017 academic year 37 undergraduate students were graduated from the department, 9 of which received a diploma degree with honors; 21 master students received master’s degrees in "Economics" and "Fundamentals of Law and Economics" Awards and scholarships: 1) Sagynbayeva Aytolkyn, 4th year student won the Scholarship of the POSCO Fund. 2) Nurgazy Shyngys 1st year Master student won an educational grant - a scholarship from the University of Tsukuba, Japan in the amount of 9600 US dollars. 3) Sagynbayeva Aytolkyn, 3rd year student won the Scholarship of the President of RK in 2016-2017 academic year. Students and graduates - winners of the National Research Institute (NRI) Competitions 1) 3rd year students Tungyshpaev Nursultan and Asyluly Erasyl won the "Best Innovative Project" nomination in the Republican Forum "Men zhastarga senemin!" in November 2016. 2) A team of 3^rd year students (Sagynbayeva A., Zhaksygereyeva A., Tungyshpaev N.) received the "Best Scientific Project" diploma at the Republican competition of SRWS, conducted by the NEU named after T.
