The goal

The program is aimed at high-quality training of highly qualified specialists in the field of teaching methods of the Russian language and literature, able to interpret the basic principles of modern linguistics and literary studies; systematize and interpret scientific theories and concepts of the latest trends in modern linguistics and literary studies in order to further apply this knowledge in the implementation of dissertation research and practical pedagogical activity; to carry out independent scientific research on the basis of material adequate to the object of research, the choice of methodology with a projection on the development of promising new areas of philological science and methods of teaching Russian language and literature; to evaluate and determine the significance of a particular product of their and other scientific activities, to present and defend their own scientific opinion in scientific discussions, using their working language.

Learning outcomes

Upon completion of this educational program, it is expected that doctoral students will be able to:

Russian Russian linguistics and literary studies 1. Demonstrate fundamental, systemic knowledge in the field of Russian linguistics and literary studies, methods of teaching Russian language and literature at the university (theoretical and methodological principles, conceptual and terminological apparatus of linguistics, literary studies, current philological directions, modern approaches, trends and trends) within the framework of modern scientific paradigms of knowledge.

To conduct a critical analysis, evaluation and synthesis of new and complex ideas, problems, approaches and trends in the field of Russian language and literature; to critically evaluate the results of scientific research, modern theories, problems and approaches, new trends in the study of the Russian language and literature (in the context of philological and humanitarian knowledge).

3. Generate new and complex goals, propose new hypotheses and solutions to scientific problems in the field of Russian language and literature teaching methods based on an independent original approach; interpret the basic principles of modern literary criticism, new literary paradigms and apply them in the analysis of classical and modern literature.

4. Systematize and interpret scientific theories and concepts of the latest trends in modern literary studies in order to further apply this knowledge when choosing initial theoretical positions; synthesize and transform philological and interdisciplinary knowledge in the process of solving educational, educational and research tasks;

5. To differentiate the priorities of educational and research activities, correlating their own scientific interests with social, ethnic values, the needs of production and society; to develop teaching materials for conducting classes and extracurricular work on literary and linguistic disciplines in higher education organizations using educational technologies and teaching methods based on their critical understanding;

6. Plan and conduct high-quality classes in higher education institutions using traditional, innovative, interactive, personality-oriented technologies and teaching methods; organize types of research, project and educational and professional activities of students in bachelor's and master's degree programs.

7. Apply the theoretical and methodological provisions of new philological teachings in the analysis of texts; conduct independent research of scientific problems with a projection on promising new areas of linguistics, literary studies and methods of teaching them in higher education

8. To explain the linguistic facts of historical and modern Russian studies; to argue the areas of application and interpretation of linguistics methods in scientific research (dissertations, scientific projects).

9. To present the results of educational and research activities in the form of scientific reports, abstracts, abstracts of articles, philological comments, doctoral dissertations, educational research and scientific projects, etc. both to specialists and to an audience without appropriate professional training; to assess the validity of the methods used in scientific research.

10. Formulate scientific goals and objectives and find solutions to them; carry out scientific experiments and correctly analyze their results.

11. Integrate interdisciplinary knowledge in order to describe and analyze modern research approaches; be ready for correct and tolerant interaction in society, for social interaction and cooperation to solve problems of science.

12. To prepare and publish the results of scientific research in the framework of international databases Thomson-Reuters or Scopus, in national and international peer-reviewed publications.

Academic activities

Academic activities of the EP are carried out:

- within the framework of existing normative documents and methodological recommendations in the sphere of higher education in the humanities,

- as a result of the implementation of normative documents regulating the educational and methodological process in the university;

- generalization and dissemination of new normative and legal acts related to methodical work;

- The current and perspective planning of the University educational-methodical work, the coordination of the educational-methodical complex of discipline (EMCD) of the department for the conformity to the normative-legal acts, the working curriculum and the educational program;

- Monitoring of the provision of the educational process with the didactic-methodic materials, documenting of the results;

- development of educational-methodical materials; development and implementation of the working curriculum;

-academic policy and university integrity rules.

To prepare qualified specialists in Russian language and literature 11 doctors of sciences and 30 candidates of sciences are working.

Scientific activities

For the development of students in the department there are clubs and clubs. Club "Akkaiyn" and Ethnoclub "Russian world". Since 2008, there are 5 joint double degree programs (Bachelor's, Master's, PhD) in the department: "Russian philology", "Russian language and literature". Training is carried out jointly with the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia (Moscow, Russia).

For the future employment of graduates of the Russian Language and Literature program, the key employers are:

1. higher education: higher educational institutions (teacher of Russian language and literature of bachelor's and master's degrees)

2. the scope of basic, general secondary and secondary special education.

3. the scope of auxiliary educational services, including the provision of services supporting the educational process or systems: educational consultations, consultations on the choice of educational directions, test assessment services, educational testing, organization of student exchange programs in the field of social sciences and humanities.
