On November 20, 2020, at 14.00, the Scientific and educational Department "Tourism and service" Of the School of Economics and Management of Narkhoz University together with the Department of recreational geography and tourism of al - Farabi Kazakh National University held an inter-University forum. Topic of the Forum: «New silk road. Transport logistics and regional economy". The event was organized in the format of an Online platform dedicated to discussing the revival of the Great Silk Road and the promotion of Kazakhstan as a shopping center and a recognizable tourist destination in Central Asia. 

On November 20, 2020, at 13.00, a webinar was held on the topic: New ways of teaching and research in Tourism Management brought by COVID-19 challenges. The webinar was organized by the UASR (University Alliance of the Silk Road) Tourism sub-Alliance of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU).  There were 4 universities as a speakers: al-Farabi Kazakh national University, Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU, Hong Kong), Mae Fah Luang University (Thailand), XI'an Jiaotong University (XI'an Province, China).

20.11.2020 employees of the Center for Remote Sensing of the Earth together with teachers of the Department of recreational geography and Tourism organized a hike on the trails" Zhas Kaiyn " and "Sarkyrama " to verify the location of markers (tourist objects) on the map using a GPS device.

A master class was held on November 19, 2020 at 20:00. Topic of the master class: Business ideas in the field of tourism. Practical tips from Alimbek Ulan, who is the winner of the National award in the field of tourism, in the category "Best instagram account about tourism". Alimbek Ulan is the main tourist of our country. He has visited not only all the corners of our beautiful country, but also 40 countries and 309 cities around the world. 

On November 16, 2020, a Master class was held by the Ritz-Carlton chef Altay Ismail. Alchi Ismail shared the secrets of cooking. The master class was attended by 30 people. The event was held using the ZOOM platform.Thank you to all participants!Organizer: Gulbaram S. A. Kulakhmetova

Lecturers and students participated in webinar on 11 November 2020 at 19.00-20.00 which was organised by UNWTO Academy. The theme:"Green Investment Mechanisms for a Sustainable tourism recovery".

On November 11, 1st year students of the specialty "6b11101-Tourism" organized an educational hour "Abay - Dana, Abay-Dara kazakta", dedicated to the 175th anniversary of the birth of the Kazakh poet, the pride of our people Abay Kunanbayev. The first part of the educational hour began with the analysis of the article of the first president of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbasy Nursultan Nazarbayev "Abay amanaty". In the second part, there were quiz questions about the life and work of Abai. In the next section "about the great love between Abay and Tugzhan ...."and the scene about the life of Abai was particularly exciting. It is noteworthy that students of the 1st Year, who study in online format in different parts of the Republic, organized a video scene. The evening, organized in an online format, will arouse the interest of students and will be another step towards the recognition of Abai.
