THE OFFICIAL CEREMONY OF THE BEGINNING CELEBRATION 1150TH ANNIVERSARY OF ABU NASR AL-FARABI
The official opening ceremony of the 1150th anniversary of al-Farabi was held in the palace of students of KazNU. The state secretary of the Republic of Kazakhstan G. Kusherbaev, the akim of Almaty B. Sagintayev, as well as state and public figures, representatives of international organizations of the UN, UNESCO, OIC, TURKSOY and others, diplomatic missions of the Republic of Kazakhstan, university rectors, and heads of scientific centers attended the celebration and research institutes, foreign and domestic scientists-farabists. Before the ceremony, the guests laid flowers at the al-Farabi monument.
