«Islam and national values»

On November 18, 2022, an open curatorial hour on the topic "Islam and national values" was held at the faculty, organized by the 2nd year adviser of the department "Physical Culture and Sports" Sabyrbek Zh.B. The event was attended by the director of the Institute of Philosophy, Political Science and Religious Studies, the Center for Religious Studies - Shagyrbai Almasbek Duisenbekovich and the Center's researcher, Islamic scholar, PhD doctoral student - Kaldybekov Nurbol Seilbekovich. At the meeting, the speakers discussed in detail the importance of religion in human life in general, the main points of the religious situation in our modern society, as well as the importance of our national values.

The students were given full information about religious groups banned in the country. Very helpful advice was given, such as where to get official sources of information related to religion and which institutions to contact if you go astray. At the end of the meeting, students' concerns related to religion were discussed, and valuable answers were given to the questions posed.
