"Nur sebele, the Great Day of Ulyus - Nauryz!" an open curatorial hour was held under the guidance of adviser NS Bergeneva.

On the implementation of the SDGs, celebrating the Nauryz holiday with 3rd year students of Eco-engineering, BZhiZOS of the UNESCO Department of Sustainable Development, an open curatorial hour was held on the topic: “Nur selele, Ulystyn Uly kuni-Nauryz!” under the leadership of curator N.S. Bergeneva.

Ulus Day is always sacred and holy for the Kazakh people. In traditional Kazakh society, Ulys Day is considered the beginning of the year.

People wore clean, new clothes, supported each other, hugged each other when they met and wished each other well. They invited each other to drink Nauryz kozhe prepared for the holiday.

As a rule, on this day people cleanse themselves of evil thoughts and so-called defilement, and cleanse their conscience. Traditional national games are held (kokpar, audaryspak, wrestling, kyz kuu, altybakan, drawings, etc.). At dawn, many people climb to the top of a high hill and watch the sunrise. In Altybakan, songs are sung and kuis are played.

During the curatorial hour dedicated to the Great Day of the Ulus, students preached the traditions of the Kazakh people, organized various games, distributed prizes to quiz participants and scattered "shashu".
