On March 16, the Chairman of the faculty’s Council of Young Scientists, Tursumbayeva Madina organized the first practical seminar on writing articles in Scopus and Web of Science magazines.
The invited guest at this event was PhD Dauren Almasovich Baiseitov, author of 25 scientific articles in Scopus and Web of Science databases (Hirsch index – 11). He shared his experience and expertise in the field of scientific research publishing.
The following issues were discussed at this event:
- How to effectively work with the Scopus database.
- How to choose suitable journals to publish your research.
- How to recognize predatory journals and avoid publishing in them.
