Open lecture PhD, acting Associate Professor of the Department of Recreational Geography and Tourism Gulbaram Kulakhmetova for students from Japan

On March 15th Gulbaram Amantaevna Kulakhmetova PhD, acting associate professor of the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Sciences at the Department of Recreational Geography and Tourism, gave a fascinating lecture for students from Japan. The event was dedicated to the exchange of cultural and scientific knowledge between the two countries, which is one of the indicators of achieving SDG 4 “Quality Education” and SDG 17 “Partnerships for Sustainable Development”.

 

The lecture took place in an atmosphere of active discussion and information exchange. Gulbaram Amantaevna presented students with extensive information about the natural resources and environmental heritage of Kazakhstan, and also shared data on the current state of the environment in the country.

 

Students from Japan showed great interest in environmental problems and achievements of Kazakhstan. They asked many questions and expressed their admiration for the strategies that are used in Kazakhstan to preserve nature and biodiversity.

 

Gulbaram Amantaevna emphasized the importance of international cooperation in the field of environmental protection and called on students to actively participate in environmental research and projects. This lecture was another step in the development of cultural and scientific exchange between Kazakhstan and Japan, and also contributed to increasing awareness of the state of the environment in both countries.
