Meeting with the publisher-translator

On February 5 of this year, students of the 2nd year of the specialty «Public Relations» met with a well-known political scientist, publisher, translator Bakytzhan Bukharbay, and exchanged views on issues of interest to them. A graduate of the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science of our University’s University, B. Bukharbay, at the present time runs the AlmaBooks Publishing House. During the meeting, the publisher-translator told that the book of the English journalist Godfrey Layas, «Kazak exodus», had recently been translated into Kazakh and Russian. Answering students' questions about the book, which was translated into Kazakh as «Exodus through the Heavenly Mountains», into Russian as «The Great Exodus of the Kazakhs», Bakytzhan Bukharbay focused on questions of the formation of patriotism among modern youth.
The author of the well-known among young people business work «Silver Book» B. Bukharbay also spoke about the problems of creating motivational literature in the Kazakh language. At the end of the meeting, teachers and students expressed their sincere thanks to the publisher-translator.
