The article of the First President of the country N. Nazarbayev "a View to the future: modernization of public consciousness" touches on the issues of spiritual modernization of the country. At present, capitalist States are developing at a special pace,but despite the fact that this is good, on the other hand, they have forgotten their inner value-spiritual development. Therefore, the head of state stressed that in order to fill these gaps, it is necessary to modernize the spiritual wealth, enriching it with spiritual values. As the head of state said, our national traditions,customs, language, music and literature should never be forgotten. All national values are passed on to the younger generation from the family, school, and kindergarten. Therefore, parents and teachers should put national education at the forefront.

In pursuance of the President's Address, a lot of work has been done at the al-Farabi Kazakh national University.

This year, the country celebrated the 1150th anniversary of the great thinker of the East, mathematician, astrologer, music theorist, second teacher after Aristotle Abu Nasir al-Farabi. Head of state Kassym-Jomart Tokayev adopted a special resolution created by the special state Commission for the preparation and holding of the anniversary. The first event started at the al-Farabi Kazakh national University in Almaty. In honor of the 1150th anniversary of Abu Nasir al-Farabi, a solemn event "the great name of the great steppe"was held. Within the framework of the 50th International scientific and methodological conference" Modern interpretation of the pedagogical concept of al-Farabi in the context of digitalization of education", dedicated to the 1150th anniversary of al-Farabi, a conference on the section "transition of education to a digital system"was held for teachers. The conference was attended by qualified teachers who expressed their opinions.

From 7 to 8 April 2014, the international scientific conference "Farabi Alemi-2020", organized by the faculty of pre-University education, was held online among students and young scientists. The main purpose of the conference is to discuss topical issues of modern development of education and science in the Republic of Kazakhstan, the formation of patriotism, a sense of patriotism among young people, popularization of the policy of the Head of state among young people.The conference was attended by foreign students and students of the preparatory Department, students of schools and colleges. All the above works were very relevant, the topics were interesting. Each report was discussed at a high level between the faculty and students.

Knowledge, work, and unity are necessary for the spiritual rebirth of humanity. All this, in the end, is one of the merits of the head of state.
