1150th anniversary of Abu Nasr al-Farabi
In 29.01.20 in the Palace of students of al-Farabi KazNU celebrated the 1150th anniversary of Abu Nasr al-Farabi. The opening ceremony of the anniversary began with the presentation of the al-Farabi Central library. The we event was attended by the Secretary Of state of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Chairman of the State Commission for the preparation and organization of the 1150th anniversary of Abu Nasr al-Farabi, K. E. Kusherbayev and Akim of Almaty B. A. Sagintayev. In addition, the at the opening of the anniversary year of al-Farabi were attended by the chairman of UN, UNESCO, OIC, TURKISH and other international organizations, of diplomatic missions in Kazakhstan, state and public figures, University rectors, heads of scientific centers and research institutes, also prominent foreign and native scientists, Chairman of native and foreign media. During the event, were presented speeches as an overview of the biography of al-Farabi, also the well-known singers of the country performed.
