The opening ceremony of the IV Turkic documentary festival within the framework of the program "Spiritual revival" was held in the al-Farabi library of the al-Farabi KazNU.
The film festival is organized to promote the common heritage of all Turkic peoples.
This event coincides with the 1150th anniversary of the great Turkic scientist al-Farabi. The second teacher of al-Farabi after Aristotle is a representative of the Turkic world, including his native land, a native of Otrar, a great honor and pride for all Kazakhs.
The scope of this project covers several countries, including Turkey, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, as well as European countries such as Macedonia, Cyprus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Hungary.
The event was attended by many public figures, scientists and Directors from the country and neighboring countries, who shared their impressions, future projects and warm wishes. Famous Kazakh film actor, public figure Asanali Ashimov congratulated the festival and wished great success to future students. The festival also featured a documentary about al-Farabi's life and career, his research career, and the great thinker's magnificent work with a wide range of world-famous works.
It is good to see that the number of students of the Kazakh Diaspora studying at the faculty of higher education of the al-Farabi Kazakh national University is increasing every year. At the same time, our students preferred to attend the Turkish film festival. This festival aroused great interest among the listeners of the Kazakh Diaspora from abroad, especially at our faculty. Our young people visited the al-Farabi library, got acquainted with the Museum and memorable photos.
These events will give a new impetus to the Patriotic feelings of young people, their spiritual revival and their appreciation of their historical and cultural heritage. In General, we believe that such meetings will give a future to the younger generation.
