The opening ceremony of the IV Turkic documentary festival as part of the program "Spiritual Revival" was held in the library. Al-Farabi KazNU named after Al-Farabi.

The film festival is organized to popularize the common heritage of all Turkic peoples.

This event coincides with the 1150th anniversary of the great Turkic scholar al-Farabi. The second teacher, Al-Farabi after Aristotle, is a representative of the Turkic world, including his native land, a native of Otrar, of great honor and pride for all Kazakhs.

The scope of this project covers several countries, including Turkey, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, as well as European countries such as Macedonia, Cyprus, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Hungary.

The event was attended by many public figures, scientists and directors from the country and neighboring countries, who shared their impressions, future projects and warm wishes. The famous Kazakh film actor, public figure Asanali Ashimov came to congratulate him on the festival and wished future words to future students.

The festival also featured a documentary about Al-Farabi’s life and career, his research career, and the great work of a great thinker with a wide range of world-famous works.

It is nice to see that the number of students of the Kazakh diaspora studying and studying at the faculty of higher education of Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi is increasing every year. In addition to training and adaptation to the new environment, various events are organized in the case of quick adaptation to the new environment and a sense of patriotism and patriotism. At the same time, our students chose to attend the Turkish Film Festival. This festival aroused great interest among representatives of the Kazakh diaspora from abroad, especially at our faculty.
