Educational event entitled “Development of auditory skills” during the course on “Psychology of coaching” and pedagogical practice, part 2.

Participants: students of the third year of bachelor's degree, specialty “Psychology”.

The purpose of the educational event: to promote the formation of the ability to listen, to recognize the emotions of the interlocutor, including own emotions.

Methodical support: presentations, audio materials.

During the educational event, students became more deeply acquainted with the topic of the significance of the development of auditory skills in the work of a psychologist.

The theoretical part was presented at the beginning of the educational event, where not only the significance of the auditory skills was revealed to the psychologists of the practitioners, but the ability to set them up as a psychologist, since, as it was noted in the first part of the study, listening skills are great and very rare skill, promoting establishment of contact and making a good impression to his interlocutor, and that such a psychologist, first of all, should adjust himself internally, prepare, and only after that carry out consultations with clients, that was highlighted in the theoretical part. In the preparation of the theoretical part, the works of DeGelder, B., Lass, N. J., EvanAsano, A.S.Zakharova were used.

Then practical tasks and exercises were conducted: the technique “how to arrange an interlocutor to yourself: 12 rules for a successful conversation” developed by A.S.Zakharova, as well as exercises with listening to audio recordings of sounds that help improve attention and concentration.

The next stage was the discussion of practical tasks and feedback on them.

During the educational event, the students actively participated, the atmosphere of creative thinking and goodwill prevailed in the classroom.
