The week of Japanese studies in the KazNU has started...

Within the framework of the project "Initiative campus on campus" at the Department of the Far East and South Asia Faculty of Oriental Studies of the al-Farabi Japanese studies Week was opened (10-15 March), with the participation of students of the Department and the University of Tsukuba (Japan). The Week of Japanese Studies was held International Student Forum "Student Life in Japan and Kazakhstan" with the participation of students, doctoral students of the University of Tsukuba (Japan). Dean of the Faculty Zhubatova B.N. made a solemn speech at the Forum. The main purpose of this Forum is to introduce and build mutual understanding between students of partner universities in the framework of the project "Campus on campus." During the Forum, Japanese students were presented with an interesting presentation in Japanese about the life of students in Japan. Students of Kazakh National University of al-Farabi talked about the everyday life of young students of Kazakhstan. After  that  students  shared their opinions and impressions.  Also at the Forum with a solemn speech by a senior lecturer T. Ninomiya  in conclusion  of Forum was take place concert numbers prepared by our students.

During their stay in Kazakhstan, students and doctoral students of the University of Tsukuba visited Kazakhstan-Japan Center for Human Resources for communication and mutual exchange of experience, visited the Scientific Library of Kazakh National University named by  Al-Farabi. Also, in order to enjoy the city students visited the beautiful places and sights of Almaty.
