Greetings from the director

We are glad that you are interested in the new site of the new Asian Research Institute of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, which was established in March 2020. It is based on the base of research centers operating in the Faculty of Oriental Studies, but in the future scientists from other faculties of the university, as well as from other scientific institutions studying current processes and problems related to the Asian region, will cooperate with it.

The Asian Research Institute is ready to make and discuss memorandums of cooperation with all domestic and foreign research centers that study any region of the Asian continent, from West Asia to the Far East. We are ready to receive you with great honor and respect if you inform us in advance about the purpose and time of the visit. We are open to exchange ideas. We are ready to provide space for presentations and public lectures. We are ready to hold joint round tables, seminars and conferences. We are waiting for interesting articles from you for our electronic magazine. We accept your master's and doctoral students for short-term and long-term internships. We help to conduct surveys and social research, identify archival and other written and oral documents.

In return, we expect your proposals for scientific cooperation, invitations to your scientific forums, and publication of the works of IAA staff in your journals.
