Department of Japanese Studies of the Faculty of Oriental Studies on 11/9/2017 and 11/23/2017 organized open lectures on financial literacy from the head of the representative office of the Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ in Almaty Hideyuki Asano.

Teachers, master students and students of the Japanese department took part in an open lecture organized within the framework of the “Spiritual Revival” program aimed at developing the competitiveness of young people in the era of globalization, as well as strengthening relations with Japanese entrepreneurs.

Mr. Asano told not only about the features of the financial system of Japan, but also about how to manage the incomes and expenses of each person, about the problems of deposit and credit. An open lecture, conducted in Japanese with a sequential translation, was a good experience for an audience studying the Japanese language.

Another achievement of this event was the decision taken after the lecture between Mr. Asano and teachers of the department of Japanese studies on the possibility for students to pass manufacturing practice in the mentioned representation.
