On the 13^th of February teachers and students of Department of Far East of Oriental Studies faculty of al-Farabi KazNU visited to school №5 in Kapchagay city to conduct activities in professionally-oriented direction for high school students. The purpose of this event was to introduce suburb’s high school students of 10^th and 11^th grades with majors that are taught in Oriental Studies faculty of al-Farabi Kazakh National University. Another purpose was to introduce general information about Korea, its’ language and culture and opportunities to study in Korea. During the event presentation and clip about Korean department were performed. Entertaining part was composed of traditional Korean dance with fans, modern K-pop dance and songs that were performed in Korean language. The event was interesting and useful for students and all people who presented there. Thus the event succeeded in achieving its’ purpose. The meeting was held at a high level in the hall was attended by over 70 people, which proves the interest caused by the existents and students. At the meeting were also invited representatives from the Department of Education Kapchagay.
