On October 28th, 2015 year at the Faculty of Oriental Studies, took part an opening ceremony of innovative online foreign languages learning classes as a part of a project called "Start-up".

In the Kazakh National University of Al-Farabi at the Faculty of Oriental Studies was launched an innovative project under the name of «Start up», which aims to provide students with the opportunity to earn money in their free time, by using their knowledge gained at the university.

In the 2014-2015 academic year was signed a contract between the Japanese company «REAL - Russiar" and the Department of the Far East. As a result of this contract, students of the Far East department of Japanese section were able to teach Japanese businessmen Russian and Kazakh languages online in their free time, so students will receive salaries for conducting lessons.

Department of Oriental Studies specifically provides students with the 534th audience, so they can conduct their online classes even at the university. In turn, the Japanese company «REAL - Russiar» provided this audience with all necessary equipment for the work of the students working on the contract.
