MAY 30- GRADUATE DAY
May 30, 2020 at the Department of Turksoy Faculty of Oriental Studies KazNU Al-Farabi hosted a graduation event.
One of the most important events of the anniversary year is a university holiday - KazNU Graduate Day. Preserving and developing the traditions of the university, as well as taking into account the epidemiological situation in the country, Alumni Day was held in a new format - online.
The grand meeting was held online on the zoom platform. The meeting began with a welcoming speech by the rector, academician G.M. Mutanov and chairman of the Alumni Association Kairat Abdrazakovich Mami.
Head of the Department Kydyrbaeva U.T. continued the festive event and presented the achievements of the university and the project “Mentoring: opportunities for everyone.
Further, a member of the Alumni Council, the best graduate of 1996, candidate of medical sciences, associate professor Shongaraeva Laura Ualievna, the best graduate of the department, laureate of the Y name medal. Altynsarina, assistant professor, candidate of philological sciences. Z.Shadkam continued her congratulatory speech. During the event, a video was shown about the graduates of the department. Associate Professor of KazNEU L.N. Gumileva, candidate of philological sciences Begimova Gulzhan, the best graduate of the department in 2001, head of the department of culture of the Ili district akimat of the Almaty region Aubakirova Ardak shared her congratulations.
Graduates were shown a slide show about the achievements of the modern department, the festive event ended with the song “Armandastar” and continued with a meeting of graduates of the faculty.
