Assistant Professor of the Turksoy Department Y.Z.Yesbosynov conducted a scientific seminar at the Institute of Eurasian Studies at the IKTU named after Yassawi

On the 17th of September of this year, Associate Professor of the Turksoy Department of the Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi Y.Z.Yesbosynov held a scientific seminar on the topic “The Lausanne Peace Pact in the Political Science of the Soviet Period” in the Eurasia Research Institute at the IKTU named after Yassawi. The seminar was about the Lausanne Peace Pact, which played a crucial role in the formation of the Republic of Turkey and the formation of an independent state. It was noted that the Pact had set up an international legal basis for the elimination of the economic, political and social crisis that had taken place in those years. It was noted that the true facts about this historical event took place during the Soviet era. Particularly, in the various branches and categories of institutes and research centers held research work of the Academy of Sciences of the Soviet Union, including on the works of I.F. Chernikov, A.D. Novichiyev, M.S. Meer, M.P. Vronchenko, R.P. Koreniyenko’s and others. Scientific publications published in Russian are also relevant in Turkey, and it has been mentioned that it is one of the valuable information in the study of the relationship between the Soviet Union and the Republic of Turkey. The seminar was held in the Kazakh, Russian and Turkish languages, and was interesting and impressive. At the end of the seminar Dr. Bakur Sümer, Director of the Eurasian Research Institute, presented the Certificate of Appreciation to Associate Professor Y.Z. Yesbosynov.
