On 11 December, the delegation headed by Dr. Tuncay Sevindik from Yıldız University of Istanbul (Turkey) came to the Faculty of Oriental Studies.

Yildiz University of Technology is a world renowned university that is actively introducing modern engineering technologies into science and education. The University’s IT specialists have developed a number of programs to simplify any work in everyday life, including the use of computer programs in the field of education, scientific work at the specialized technology park of the university. They have practically been practiced and demonstrated their great results. As well as this, now they are gaining the interest of European countries.

Dr. Tuncay Sevindik introduced the faculty undergraduate and doctorate students with qualified specialists such as Mustafa İnan, Sabri Demir, Murat Uchar and explained the contents of their work.

The Turkish guests held a special meeting at the TURKSOY educational and scientific center, discussed about the future projects with this center and spoke about the specific types of planned works. The dean of the faculty, Ph.D Yktiyar Paltore indicated the fact that the political and economic relations between Kazakhstan and Turkey will have been strengthened through education and culture. At the same time, he expressed confidently that by the active use of information technology (IT) in the teaching of eastern languages and in leading scientific work is increasing day by day where the experience of these specialists will help not only the faculty, but also the entire university in the future.

During the meeting, the Turkish experts proposed to open a special web site between Al-Farabi KazNU and Yildiz Technical University. Engineers of the university of Yildiz say that they will be supported by both countries to develop and implement international scientific and educational projects. The Dean of the faculty said that these proposals would be delivered to the university administration.

With this solid foundation, new technologies of the East study will be launched and new opportunities will be opened! Let all of these will be successful for us!
