Modern Opportunities of Using Latin Alphabet
On October 25, 2018 a presentation of a new program for the simplification of Latin graphics was held at the Turksoy department. The meeting was opened by the famous Kazakhstani academician, mathematician Mukhtarbai Utelbayev. The head of the department, associate professor Torali Kydyr was a moderator of the meeting. Scientists and IT specialists from several universities of the city shared their views. The new program is designed for those who do not speak Kazakh or who started to study the language.
This new program includes all the features of the Kazakh language, where the written words are automatically changed according to the law of harmony. For example: kr - қыр (qyr), krleu - кірлеу (kirley), krlau-қырлау (qırlay) and etc.
With this program it is also planned to simplify the Arabic and runic alphabets. The meeting was followed by a discussion; сorrespondents of "Aykyn" and "Bilim Times" magazines also revealed interest, and made an audio-video recording of the meeting.
