On March 20, 2018, the Museum of Rare Books and the Museum of the History of Kazakhstan Science of the RSE "Gylym Ordasi" with the support of the KazNU. al-Farabi and the Cultural Center of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the Republic of Kazakhstan, the editorial board of Al Farabi organized a round table.

Discussed questions on the study and popularization of the philosophical heritage of al-Farabi in Kazakhstan and Iran. The round table was attended by domestic and foreign researchers, researchers and masters studying in Iranian studies, Arabic studies and Turkic studies in universities in Almaty.

The roundtable was conducted by Seidin Nurlan Bakytzhanovich, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Deputy Director General of RSE "White Orders" for scientific, innovative and international activities. The round table was held by the Winter Garden of the RSE  " Gylym Ordasi.

Welcoming speeches were made by Ph.D., Tultaev Bauyrzhan Tultaevich, Consul of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Almaty Hamid Riza Arshadi, Director of the Cultural Center of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the Republic of Kazakhstan Jabada Jalali, Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Studies of KazNU, PhD Iktiar Paltore Moldatorely.

The speakers were: Director of the Al-Farabi Center, Doctor Professor Altaev Zhakypbek on the theme: "Ways of becoming Farabi Studies in Kazakhstan", Professor Amir Chinari (Iran) on the topic: "The degree of studying the heritage of al-Farabi in Iran", the editor-in-chief of the magazine "Al-Farabi", Ph.D. Kurmangaliyeva Galiya on the theme: "The main ideas of the philosophy of al-Farabi and his philosophical activity", Ph.D., head of department Kydyr Torali "Turksoy" KazNU. al-Farabi, on the topic: "Eastern philosophy. Kalam, Mantik and other auxiliary disciplines»,  doctoral  student  PhD Tuyakbaev Omir on the topic: "Turkic mysticism and" Kitab ar-Raml al-Farabi".

The participants of the round table visited the Museum of rare books and History of Kazakhstan Science.
