The meeting under the title "Bilingual creative Auezkhan Kodar"
November 18, 2015 at 14.30-16.30 the meeting was held under the title "Bilingual creative Auezkhan Kodar" at the Faculty of Oriental Studies at the organization of the Department of TURKSOY. As part of the "Aynalandy nurlandyr" was held the meetingt with Auezkhan Kodar.
Auezkhan Kodar - known figure of the Kazakh culture, bilingual in every sense of the word. He writes in Russian and Kazakh languages as a poet, critic, essayist and cultural studies. He has made a great contribution as a translator of Kazakh national classics into Russian. He translated into Russian works of Abai, Shakarim, Magzhan Zhumabaeva, Makhambet Otemis-uly. He translated works into Kazakh languageby th works of A.S. Pushkin, S.A. Esenin, Joseph Brodsky. Actively participated in the state program "Cultural Heritage", consisting of 10-volume edition of the world cultural ideas translated into Kazakh 2 volumes of "Postmodernism and Culture" (2005). He is author of 12 books, of which 2 in the Kazakh language: Qanagat qaganaty (1996), Oral (2006).
The meeting was attended by the teaching staff of the faculty, doctoral PhD students, undergraduates, students and students of the Open School of Literary Almaty.
