April 19-21, 2023 on the basis of Al-Farabi KazNU, organized by the Turksoy department of Faculty of Oriental Studies, the Republican Disciplinary Olympiad was held among higher educational institutions of Kazakhstan according to the educational program 6B02207-Oriental Studies.

The purpose of the Olympiad is to increase the level of language proficiency of students studying oriental studies, develop their creative abilities, increase their enthusiasm and activity, select and support talented students, as well as strengthen ties between higher educational institutions.

The competition was attended by students of 2-3-4 courses studying under the educational programs "6B02207-Oriental Studies" in higher educational institutions of the country. This Olympiad was held in full-time format.

For participation in the Olympiad, 5 students of Abylai Khan KazUIR & W, 8 students of the al-Farabi Kazakh National University, 12 students in total. In total, 10 students took part in the Olympiad.
