The Nauryz holiday is a common holiday of the Turkic peoples

 

A round table "Celebration of the Nauryz holiday among the Turkic peoples" was held with the participation of the teaching staff of the Turksoy Department of the Faculty of Oriental Studies and 3rd year students. At the festive gathering of young students, videos were shown about the celebration of the Nauryz holiday among the Turkic peoples, and A. Karakulova and Zh. Muratova spoke about the tradition of celebrating the Nauryz holiday among the Turkish, Uzbek and Tatar people.

Nauryz is a holiday widely celebrated by the Turkic peoples. Nauryz has been declared a "national holiday" by Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan and the Autonomous Republic of Tatarstan within the Russian Federation. In 1991, this day was declared in Turkey as the common day of the Turkic world. According to scientists, Nauryz has many names among the Turkic peoples. It is known in the Turkic world that the Nauryz (new day) holiday, which has come to us since the time of the Huns and represents nature and national awakening as one meaning, is called by the following names, for example, Neuruz, Nauryz, Navruz, Sultan-i Nevruz, Sultan-i March , Naorus, Novruz, Son of Ulis.den, Ergenekon, bozkurt, chagan babu nevruz, nartukan, nartavan, Altai kodurgeni, etc.
