The literary and musical evening "Fateful personalities: Muzbalak Mukagali and the greatest Orkhan Veli"
On February 9, the literary and musical evening "Fateful personalities: Muzbalak Mukagali and the greatest Orkhan Veli" was held in the Azerbaijani Center of the TURKSOY department, dedicated to the birthday of the great Kazakh poet Mukagali Makatayev.
Among the honored guests of the event were the deputy dean of the Faculty for Educational, methodical and educational work Amirbekova Umitai Abdigapparovna, Turkish guest lecturer, PhD Selenay Koshumju, senior curator-adviser of the faculty Sharipkazy Nurtalip, the teaching staff of the TURKSOY department and students. Umitai Abdigapparovna Amirbekova, the deputy dean of the Faculty for Educational and Methodical Work, opened the literary and musical program with a welcoming speech, shared her memories of the great Mukagali, read poems and wished the students good luck.
At the literary and musical event organized by the 2nd year, young people demonstrated the work of Mukagali Makatayev and Orkhan Veli, read poems by two poets and sang songs to the words of poets. I especially liked M. Makataev's poem "When swans sleep" performed by Inkar Shakipzada.
