Round table «Reading and analysis of the text in the Ottoman language "Suhail and Nevbahar" of the XIV century»
On December 12, 2022, the research center " Written Monuments and Spiritual Heritage" at al-Farabi Kazakh National University organized a round table on the topic "Reading and analyzing the text in the Ottoman language "Suhail and Nevbahar" of the XIV century." The lecture was delivered by Professor of Eskisehir Osmangazi University Erdogan Boz, who was specially invited by our university.
Along with the analysis of the text in the Ottoman language, the round table showed the linguistic features of this text and compared it with the Chagatai language. The event was attended by teachers of the department Turksoy Abeldaev Zh., Koshumdzhu S., Isakhanov M., Kairanbayeva N., as well as doctoral and undergraduate students.
Erdogan Boz explained from a practical point of view the correct analysis of the text in the Ottoman language, the distinctive features of "vezin", "aruz", "nazym", "redif", "kafiye", correct phonetic and grammatical analysis.
At the end of the event, the director of the research center Shadkam Z. warmly welcomed our distinguished guest and presented a letter of thanks. It should be noted that Erdogan Boz will continue his lectures at the Faculty of Oriental Studies until December 25, 2022.
