09.11.2022 a scientific seminar of senior lecturer Zh.A.Abeldaev "The Genesis ofthe Turkish historical novel" was held at the Azerbaijani Center of the TURKSOY department.
The scientific seminar was attended by the teaching staff of the TURKSOY department, students, undergraduates and doctoral students. The purpose of thescientific seminar was to study the origin of the Turkish historical novel, to assessthe trends in the development of the Turkish historical novel, to review the Turkishhistorical novel of the twentieth century, to analyze the historical novels of theTurkish writer Hussein Nihal Atsyz.The speaker, being a specialist in Turkish literature, widely revealed the formationand development of the modern Turkish historical novel, its role in modernTurkish society. He deeply explained the place occupied by historical novels in therise of the historical consciousness of the Turks, its historical essence.As a result of the scientific seminar, it was possible to assess the trends in theformation and development of the Turkish historical novel, to comprehend a widerange of requests of the Turkish historical novel of the twentieth century, tocomprehend the meaning of the historical novel, to get information about thehistorical novels of the Turkish writer H. N.Atsyz, to get information about modernhistorical novels of Turkish writers.After the end of the scientific seminar, the speaker answered the questions of theaudience.
