The meeting of the V International Farabi Forum section
April 4, 2018 at the Scientific Library of Al-Farabi KazNU held a meeting of the section "Scientometrics and management of scientific and technological development of society» V International Farabi Forum. At the meeting the reports were made by the scientists of the faculty of chemistry and chemical technology of KazNU, prof. Ili Pedagogical University of China M.Esjanuly, professor of the Erzincan University (Turkey) I.Kekusary, M.Chichek, AUEC doctoral student S.Baipakbayeva.
The following recommendations are proposed for the work of the section: to create a database of scientists of Kazakhstan on scientific metric indicators and to use it to finance scientific projects, recommend doctoral candidates with the H-index above 3 for a degree without a procedure for protection, to attract representatives of productions for participation in conferences and preparation of scientific projects.
