Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology, Treasury. Al-Farabi Kazakh National University informs about the Republican subject Olympiad students of "5V072100 - HTOV" and offers to get acquainted with its main provisions.

REGULATIONS ON THE SUBJECT Olympiad from specialty "5V072100 - Chemical technology of organic substances" (March 30-31, 2016)
This Regulation determines the procedure for organizing and conducting student subject Olympiad (the Olympics), its organizational and methodological support, participation and determining the winners of the Olympic Games.

1. General Provisions
1.1 Subject Olympiad from specialty "5V072100 - HTOV" - a system of full-time students of the competition in "5V072100 - HTOV" institutions of higher education, in which assesses the knowledge and skills of students participating and the winners are determined.
Olympics mission is to form creative thinking among the youth and encouraging research activities of students in the field of chemical technology of organic substances.
1.2 Subject Olympiad from specialty "5V072100 - HTOV" is held annually at the Republican level.
13. General methodical, organizational and information support is carried out by the working group of the organizing committee for the Olympic Games, the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology of the Kazakh National University them. Al-Farabi.

2. Organizational and methodical maintenance of Olympics
2.1. The general management of the organization and holding of the Olympic Games shall Olympics organizing committee, the composition of which determines and approves the KazNU.
2.2 Determination of the winners of the Olympic Games carried the Olympic judges.

3. The procedure for the organization and holding of the Olympic Games
3.1 Terms of the Contest:
3.1.1 At the Olympic Games can take part students of the specialty "5V072100 - HTOV" universities all courses full-time education.
3.1.2 The Olympiad is held to identify the individual and team competitions among higher educational institutions.
3.1.3 Each school is no more than one (1) team of 3-5 people. University, which hosted the Olympic Games is held, is not more than 2 teams.
3.1.4 Olympic winner in the individual competition is the participant with the highest total score for the first and second rounds of the Olympics.
3.1.5 The winner of the Olympics in the team competition of the university team recognized with the highest amount of the average score for the first and second rounds of the Olympics. In summing up the results of the Olympiad jury reveals the winners of each place in the team standings.
3.2 Procedure for the Olympics:
3.2.1 The Olympiad is held at the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology, Treasury. Al-Farabi Kazakh National University in the 2nd round. In accordance with this organized and carried out:
1) The first stage - testing, where the Olympic Games participants respond to test questions, covering the following courses:
1. Organic Chemistry of aliphatic compounds
2. Basic processes and apparatuses of chemical technology
3. General Chemical Engineering
4. Chemical Technology of basic organic synthesis
Test task 300 includes questions, each of which involves 1 to 3 correct responses.
2) the second round - the protection of the scientific project (length of the report - 15 minutes). Each team represents one (1) research project on chemical technology of organic substances. Projects must be submitted in paper (3 copies of the project in paperback) and electronic (Power Point) versions. Research projects will be evaluated according to the following criteria:
• relevance of the topic
• scientific novelty
• the degree of elaboration of the project
• Rapporteur oratory skills
• completeness of the answers to the questions of the jury
3.3. Summarizing and rewarding the winners of the Olympics organizing committee carries on the proposal of the jury.
3.4. Winners (and participants in the team, who took the first, second and third places in individual and team competition) will be awarded with diplomas and valuable gifts. Diplomas and gifts are given at the end of the Olympic Games in a festive atmosphere.
3.5. The team may be denied admission to the tender application and participation in the Olympic Games in the event:
• late submission of the tender application;
• discrepancies applications Olympics requirements;
• incomplete or incorrect submission of the required documents.
3.6 Collective applications from universities to participate in the Olympics will be accepted until March 25, 2016 inclusive, to the email address rashid76@inbox.ru

1100-1400, a computer lab - testing
1400- 1500 - lunch
1500 - 1800, aud. 427 - Protection of scientific projects
March 31, Thursday
900- 1100 tour
1130-1230, malachite hall - announcement of results and award winners

5. Funding for Olympics
5.1. Participation in the Olympic Games (travel, per diem, accommodation) is funded by the sending party.
5.2. All organizational costs (preparation tasks, diplomas, certificates, the purchase of paper, stationery, etc..) Finances KazNU. Al-Farabi.


6. Procedure for submission of documents to the organizing committee of the Olympic Games
To register participants of the competition institution submits the following documents:
• Application form (Form)
• A copy of the record book or certificate from the place of study of each participant, indicating the specialty "5V072100 - HTOV".
The team members, who arrived to participate in the Olympic Games, must be in possession of an identity card and record book (the original).
