Graduates of this program would result in being able to:
1 Critically interpret and evaluate the latest theories and concepts about the state and trends of global and local processes and current events in world politics; integrate methods and methodology of international research in accordance with the advanced science trends and practical needs
2 To apply studied concepts and theories for analysis of current events in the world politics; to have skills of applied analysis in issues of sustainable development, cultural interactions and integration processes in the framework of research activities and public service.
3 To analyze integrative, innovative processes in the modern system of international relations, to have skills of applied analysis, theoretical and methodological synthesis, game theory methods, scenario and analytical forecasting of the international situations in professional analytical work.
4 To conduct analytic work, to forecast evolution of modern regional integrational, socio-cultural processes; to apply the skills of organizing research works, team management as well as projects in real life.
5 To interpret the correlation of national, regional and global security, to identify security threats at different levels based on strategic analysis of new security dimensions; to distinguish different approaches of Central Asian countries towards regional security issues
6 To study main directions of Eurasian integration development; to understand regional integration structures based on scientific approaches of critical analysis; to implement scenario and forecast analysis of interstate interactions and find solutions to various practical issues
7 To integrate knowledge of scientific theories, schools and directions into research and scientific pedagogical practice; to carry out systemic analysis at global and regional levels and make an assessment of the situation in different spheres of world politics; mega trends, role of globalization, activities of the main global actors.
8 To evaluate economic and social risks of political decision making; to consider major trends of sustainable development and features and perspectives of leading world actors’ activities during transformation of global structure in professional analytical work.
9 To generalize issues of regional and global level in the field of bilateral and multilateral interactions using methods of research of economic and political trends in Central Asia within framework of tutoring and research work.
10 On the basis of key aspects of global structure’s transformation, UN activity and other international organizations to forecast and model different fields of international interactions, to solve practical problems during professional work for government and non-government structures.
11 To elaborate and draft relevant research tasks concerning issues of global and regional security considering new security dimensions and apply appropriate methods of their solution, to forecast ways of solving issues within framework of tutoring and research work.
12 On the basis of modern international relations’ theoretical approaches produce articles, papers, analysis reports, Master degree thesis; apply the knowledge and critical analysis skills to develop and apply genuine ideas in context of independent research.
