1.ON1 analyze the scientific data obtained on the basis of the conducted experiments, observations, remote sensing to identify and interpret patterns and trends in data sets using modern computer technologies;

- Description: Aim оf discipline is to form the knowledge and professional competence of doctoral students in the collection, analysis and interpretation of scientific data. Data collection - systematic registration of information; data analysis includes work to identify patterns and trends in data sets; data interpretation explains these patterns and trends. Scientists interpret data based on their basic knowledge and experience; thus, different scientists can interpret the same data in different ways. As a result of studying the discipline, doctoral students will be able to: - organize, analyze and interpret scientific data; - process various types of data from the fields of mechanics, astronomy, remote sensing of the Earth, physics, materials science, etc.; - obtain and use different data in simulations, experiments or observations; - use visualization methods for analyzing scientific data; use statistical analysis methods for scientific data from different subjects; - use software packages for solving data analysis and interpretation tasks; - develop practical recommendations based on data analysis, draw conclusions. The Scientific data processing is responsible for the design, development, implementation and integration of science data processing applications. This supports all phases of instrument, spacecraft and mission development, from concept through pre- and post-mission analysis, for Earth Science, Space Science, Exploration Systems, etc. Data analysis is at the basis of any scientific investigation. This module takes readers through the steps of data collection, analysis, interpretation, and evaluation. The module explores how scientists collect and record data, find patterns in data, explain those patterns, and share their research with the larger scientific community. This module essentially covers all aspects of data analysis, from arrays and histograms to clustering analysis, curve fitting and metadata.

Mission development and spacecraft design

- Description: The goal of the discipline is to form theoretical and practical knowledge on the design of space systems used to solve problems of space subjects; skills in solving problems of modeling, calculating and designing space systems and their components using special application software for solving complex problems in this area. As a result of studying the discipline, the PhD student will be able to: - identify and develop a mission of the spacecraft; - to model the components of the spacecraft and the space system using system approach methods and modern software products for predicting behavior, optimizing and studying the functioning of the components of spacecraft and the space system, taking into account the materials used, the expected risks and possible failures - apply specialized software to solve problems of modeling and design of spacecraft components; - apply the methods and principles of system design of spacecraft, including the methods of constructing conceptual and mathematical models; - to analyze the methods and stages of design, the principles of constructing physical and mathematical models, their applicability to specific processes and elements.In studying the discipline, the following issues will be considered: - specialized software for solving modeling problems; - software for solving problems of designing components of the spacecraft; - the process of designing the spacecraft; - calculate the main trajectory parameters of spacecraft.

- Description: The purpose of studying the discipline "Academic writing" is to develop PhD doctoral students' respective professional competencies aimed at developing the willingness and ability of scientific and pedagogical personnel to implement their own research projects, programs, and presenting their results in writing in accordance with the legislative norms of the Republic of Kazakhstan and international academic community, the ability to show publication activity in national and foreign language. As a result of studying the discipline, doctoral students will be able to: - formulate productive research questions; to formulate the goal, objectives, subject and object of scientific work; prepare a description of the research in Kazakh, Russian or English language in order to publish the results in a highly rated journal. - navigate in the literature on the topic of research, use bibliographic resources and search engines for scientific work, including electronic databases; - reasonably state the provisions of their study, based on facts and examples. - prepare and submit documents for obtaining a patent and copyright . - substantially conduct a discussion on the topic of research in order to disclose a research question and develop methodological tools for the implementation of a scientific project. Implement a scientific project in accordance with the requirements of competitive documentation or as part of initial research. - write a review of a scientific project / article / dissertation. The discipline "Academic Writing" includes the main aspects of compiling academic texts in Kazakh, Russian and English are considered in order to publish the results of scientific research in the form of dissertations, scientific articles or project applications. - Description: The main purpose of "PhD thesis writing and defence": of a doctoral dissertation is the formation of the doctoral students' ability to disclose the content of research work for the defense of the thesis. During the study of course, doctoral student's should be competent in: 1. to substantiate the content of new scientifically grounded theoretical and experimental results that allow to solve a theoretical or applied problem or are a major achievement in the development of specific scientific directions; 2. explain the assessment of the completeness of the solutions to the tasks assigned, according to the specifics of the professional sphere of activity; 3. they can analyze alternative solutions for solving research and practical problems and assess the prospects for implementing these options; 4. apply the skills of writing scientific texts and presenting them in the form of scientific publications and presentations. 5. to plan and structure the scientific search, clearly highlight the research problem, develop a plan / program and methods for its study, formalize, in accordance with the requirements of the State Educational Establishment, the scientific and qualification work in the form of a thesis for a scientific degree Doctor of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) on specialty «8D07502 – Standardization and certification (by industry)». - Description: The purpose of the discipline is to form the PhD students with knowledge of the theoretical and practical basics of building flight control systems for spacecraft of various purposes, familiarization with the main tasks of control systems, training in the formulation and solving problems of synthesis of spacecraft control systems based on classical and modern techniques and methods for their practical implementation, preparation of PhD candidates for independent scientific and practical activities in the subject area. Satellite data processing using the software ENVI

- Description: The purpose of the discipline: ENVI software (ENvironment for Visualizing Images) for visualization and processing of remote sensing data (Earth remote sensing), which includes a set of tools for conducting a full cycle of data processing from orthotransformation and spatial reference of the image to obtain the necessary information and its integration with GIS data. As a result of studying the discipline, the PhD students will be able to: - demonstrate knowledge of the functions of the correction of geometric and radiometric distortions of known satellite systems; - solve the problems of remote sensing of the Earth using the modern software package ENVI; - solve problems using the ENVI package; - apply a wide range of tools for spectral image analysis; - carry out the synthesis and transformations in the systems of color coordinates (HSV, RGB); - calculate the vegetation index. When studying the discipline, the following issues will be considered: - cartographic projections, projection of raster data; - orthorectification of images, creating a file with RPC coefficients; - calibration by radiation from the sensor; - spectral data analysis, spectral libraries, spectral profiles; - generalization, conversion of classification results into a vector view; - import of radar files, view Header files of radar data, data display.

- Description: The purpose of the discipline is to familiarize PhD students with modern inertial and satellite communication and navigation systems, the principles of their work, the formation of basic knowledge in the field of digital technologies of radio communication and broadcasting, navigation of mobile objects, including space vehicles, the acquisition of skills in the design and calculation of digital radiocommunication systems and navigation, preparation of PhD students for independent scientific and practical activities in the subject area. As a result of studying the discipline, the mannrant will be able to: - apply the basic concepts, methods, algorithms and means of modern inertial and satellite navigation; - use the necessary software and work with it; - identify sources of errors in satellite observations and ways to reduce them; - demonstrate technological schemes for the use of satellite technologies in navigation; - analyze the application of methods, algorithms and software to solve practical problems in the field satellite navigation. - Description: The purpose of the discipline is to develop skills for the ground control segment of the space system; knowledge for the development and improvement of the operation of the ground control station of the spacecraft. Upon successful completion of this module, PhD students will be able to: - develop and improve systems of operation and restoration of complexes and start-up equipment; - analyze the optimization of the management of organizational and technical systems, technical support and technical condition of the complexes and their systems; - apply modern tools for designing instruments and equipment for ground-based automated control systems for spacecraft and have the skills to operate them; - simulate the flight and provide information exchange between the ground complex and the spacecraft; - calculate the energy supply system, make up the budget of the energy supply system; - apply methods of designing the power supply system of the spacecraft. In studying the discipline, the following issues will be considered: - management and coordination of interaction of technical means for deployment, maintenance in the mode of regular operation and replacement of spent spacecraft; - analysis and forecast of the technical state of spacecraft; -organization of preventive works and handling contingencies; - organization of measurements of current navigation parameters, and their processing; - the main subsystems of the ground complex control spacecraft; - control of the ground station and set the commands for the space station.
