History of university from 1955 to 1961

He is graduated from Moscow State University in 1936. In 1936-1937 he worked as a teacher at the Kazakh State University named after S.M. Kirov. In 1938-1941 - graduate student of the Institute of Biology of the AS of the USSR, in 1941-1943 - senior researcher of biochemistry laboratory of the Kazakh branch of the AS USSR, in 1943-1946 - Vice-Rector, in 1946-1970 - Head of the Department, in 1955-1961 - Rector of the KazSU named after S.M. Kirov. In 1972-1983 - member of the Presidium, Academician-Secretary of the Department of Biological Sciences of the Kazakh SSR. In 1983-1986 - Head of the Laboratory of the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biochemistry, Academy of Sciences of the Kazakh SSR.

An author of over 230 scientific papers (including 2 monographs and 2 textbooks), had 2 certificates of authorship. The main scientific works are devoted to the study of biochemistry, cereal crops, the study of proteins, carbohydrates, enzymes, vitamins, mineral composition of wheat.

Deputy to the Supreme Soviet of the Kazakh SSR of 4-5-th convocations. He was awarded the Order of Lenin and other orders and medals.
