The sports complex of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University recently hosted the traditional sports contest "Health" for employees and academic staff, which this year was held for the 49^th time by the Parasat working union together with the Sports Club.

671 people from 20 teams took part in the Spartakiad. In addition to the faculties, the Department of Information and Communication, the Center for Situational Management, the Scientific Library and the Military Department actively participated in the Spartakiad.

The winners of the sports contest were awarded diplomas and prizes from the Parasat trade union. The winning teams received special diplomas and cups.

The third team place was won by the Faculty of International Relations (Dean – D. Zhekenov).

The second place was awarded to the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics (Dean - U.Abdibekov).

The winner of the Spartakiad was the team of the Faculty of Law (Dean – D.Baideldinov).
