Chairman of the Board-Rector of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev took part in the online work of the international round table, where the book "Representatives of ethnic groups of Kazakhstan in art and culture: an encyclopedia of personalities" was presented, prepared and published by the Kazakh National Academy of Arts named after T.K. Zhurgenov on an initiative project of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan.

The encyclopedia of personalities acquaints readers with representatives of various ethnic groups, their contribution to the formation and development of an independent state. The publication is a continuation of a series of various encyclopedias, works dedicated to prominent figures of Kazakhstan, as well as the conceptual apparatus of the Rukhani Zhagyru Program.

It should be noted that the publication of the book was supported by the Chairman of the Board - Rector of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev, when he worked as Deputy Chairman - Head of the Secretariat of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan. The moderator of the event is the vice-rector for educational and methodological work of the KazNAA named after T. Zhurgenova, doctor of political sciences, member of the ANC Sharipbek Amirbekov read out a congratulatory letter from the rector of KazNU named after al-Farabi Zh. Tuimebayev, in which it was noted that since gaining independence for Kazakhstan, the main value has always been the unity of the people, stability and harmony in society. In his letter, the rector emphasized the special role of Elbasy in the formation of interethnic harmony. “The first President of Kazakhstan-Elbasy Nursultan Nazarbayev: We have created a strong state with a dynamic economy. Together they bypassed all the pitfalls of history, and thanks to a pragmatic and balanced foreign policy, they earned a high international prestige. The model by which we have built interethnic relations in our country is balanced, effective, time-tested and serves as an example for everyone. Analyzing these processes, I am always convinced that we have chosen the right way to strengthen the unity and harmony of the people of Kazakhstan. And we found the right tools to successfully follow it. The most important decision was the creation of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan. The ANC has harmoniously involved all Kazakhstani ethnic groups and religious confessions in state building. By integrating our Assembly into the political system of the state, we have formed our own unique course of national unity. "

In this context, the special role of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan and the published new educational book, which is designed to reveal the contribution of representatives of all nationalities to the development of Kazakhstan, is obvious. The creators of the encyclopedia were inspired by the noble intention to leave in the memory of the people the history of representatives of ethnic groups and their significant contributions to the development of the country.

The head of state, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, in his Address to the people of Kazakhstan, emphasized: “Agreement between various social and ethnic groups is the result of the efforts of the entire society. We need, given the role of the Kazakh people as a state-forming nation, to continue to strengthen interethnic harmony and interreligious understanding. We will continue to create conditions for the development of languages ​​and cultures of all ethnic groups in our country. "

In this regard, it should be emphasized that the new unique encyclopedia includes valuable biographical information of representatives of three generations of ethnic groups that are known both in Kazakhstan and far beyond its borders. Documentary data was extracted from archives, interviews, media resources in accordance with the principle of "unity in diversity" and in the context of the modernization processes of the XXI century. The book includes the personalities of more than 300 cultural and art workers, theater and film actors, musicians, writers, painters and decorators. The encyclopedia was published with the support of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan and the Institute of Applied Ethnopolitical Research.

The round table was attended by deputies of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, faculty, students, undergraduates, doctoral students of KazNAA named after T. Zhurgenov and KazNU them. al-Farabi, members of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, representatives of the RSU "Kogamdyk Kelisim" MIOR RK, ANK "Shanyrak", honorary guests from the Far and Near Abroad, scientists and public figures of Kazakhstan.
