KAZNU HEADED ZHANSEIT TUYMEBAYEV

The Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan Askhat Aimagambetov presented to the staff of the KazNU named after al-Farabi of the new leader - Zhanseit Tuimebayev.

Speaking to the staff of the university, the minister informed that on a competitive basis the Republican Commission recommended to appoint to the post of the Chairman of the Board-Rector of the NJSC "KazNU named after al-Farabi "Zhanseit Kanseituly Tuimebayev.

Introducing the staff to the new rector, the minister noted that Zhanseit Tuimebayev, Doctor of Philology, professor, is a university graduate, has extensive experience in leadership, worked as the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in the diplomatic service, akim of the region, recently was the Deputy Chairman of the People's Assembly Kazakhstan, the head of the Secretariat of the ANC of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Askhat Aimagambetov wished the new rector success in his work and expressed confidence that under his leadership the university will continue to develop dynamically and increase competitiveness in the global scientific and educational space.

In turn, Zhanseit Tuimebayev noted that it is a great honor for him to head the country's leading university, it is a great trust and responsibility. The priority areas of work will be to improve the quality of education and teachers' salaries, develop infrastructure and create favorable conditions for students, and expand international cooperation. He also stressed that an important task is the development of research activities, the introduction of scientific developments in real production.
