At the regular meeting of the rectorate, which was held in online format, topical issues of educational and methodical work were discussed, including the results of the summer semester, as well as admission to Master’s and Doctoral studies. In addition, the academic calendar for 2020-2021 year has been presented for consideration.

Askar Khikmetov, Vice-Rector for Educational Work, made a presentation «On current tasks of educational and methodical work». He spoke in detail about the issues to be resolved before the beginning of the new academic year, told about the results of the summer semester, and gave information on the rules of admission of applicants for admission to the Master’s degree and Doctoral studies. The Vice-Rector noted that due to the extension of quarantine in the country, comprehensive testing for Master's and Doctoral studies will start on August 17. Submission of documents for Doctoral studies has been extended until August 10, and the admission procedure should be completed on August 27.

The rectorate presented the academic calendar for 2020-2021 academic year. An online orientation week will be held for first-year students, and an educational video course on distance learning will be prepared for them.
