The delegation of the Integral University (India) visited Al-Farabi  KazNU.  During the meeting, prospects for mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of higher education as well as the possibility of joint investment projects have been discussed.

Welcoming foreign guests, Galym Mutanov highlighted that there are long-standing strategic relations between India and Kazakhstan, and KazNU and Integral University have great prospects for mutually beneficial cooperation.

In KazNU, at the Faculty of Oriental Studies, there is a Department of Indology, where Hindi and Urdu languages are studied. Last year, the center of Mahatma Gandhi was opened. Students from India study at KazNU.

«This year our University celebrated its 85th anniversary. I would like to thank the delegation from your esteemed University for participating in this event», - said the Rector of KazNU. - In 2020, a large-scale celebration of the 1150th anniversary of the oriental thinker Al-Farabi is planned. It is significant that the house of the great scientist will be opened in the Indian city of Delhi».

In response, President of the University of Integral Sayed Vasim Akhtara thanked for the warm welcome, emphasizing the importance of establishing friendly relations between Universities.

«Scientist Al-Farabi is known and honored in India. KazNU is known in our country, said Mr. Sayed Vasim Akhtara. - In Kazakhstan there are many Universities specializing in the field of science, technology and management. But we wanted to visit your University in order to borrow rich experience in developing education, introducing innovations and new technologies. We are also interested in sharing our own experience if you show interest in this. We are very grateful for the establishment of the Mahatma Gandhi Center. I am glad that our communication has begun very successfully and I hope that we will have common goals that we will achieve in the course of cooperation».

Mr. Sayed Vasim Akhtara expressed his readiness to assist and support the development of the Mahatma Gandhi center and the study of the Urdu language. He also proposed to open the Center of Kazakh culture and language at the Integral University.

In turn, Galym Mutanov showed great interest in this initiative, voiced the prospects of possible cooperation in the development of the Faculty of Medicine and Healthcare, suggesting to discuss the possibility of implementing joint investment projects.
