Al-Farabi KazNU hosted a festival of Korean national games, in which students of Seoul National University, the University of Korea, the Korean Studies Department of the Department of the Far East took part.

Korean students demonstrated the features and tactics of Korean national games. The Festival was held in a cheerful setting, where the atmosphere of friendship and mutual understanding prevailed. Students during the event were able to not only play Korean national games like «yutori», «chegichaki», «sabangchigi», and immerse into the originality of Korean culture, but also communicate with their Korean peers. This event was organized by the National Institute for the Study of the Korean Language of the Republic of Korea under the program «Cultural Exchange between University Students of Central Asian Countries».
