Al-Farabi KazNU hosted the International Scientific Conference «Inverse Problems in Finance, Economics and Life Sciences», organized by KazNU and Abay KazNPU.

More than 90 scientists from Kazakhstan, Russia, China, Kyrgyzstan and other countries attended the event, who have presented interesting reports and research results on promising areas in solving ill-posed inverse problems in the field of Economics and Finance.

The Conference was aimed at uniting and exchanging the experience of famous scientists and young researchers working in the field of ill-posed inverse problems of Natural Sciences, as well as discussing joint scientific activities and project results.

The inverse and incorrect problems arise in many areas. This Conference has focused on the theoretical and numerical aspects of ill-posed inverse problems for solving problems of Economics, Finance, and other fields.

During the event, the monograph of the famous Kazakhstani scientist, Rector of KazNU, Academician Galym Mutanov - «Mathematical Methods and Models in Economic Planning, Management and Budgeting» - was presented in Chinese. The book has been recently published at the leading Publishing House of the People’s Republic of China at Renmin University and was presented at the world’s largest Beijing International Book Exhibition.

It should be noted that earlier the monograph was published in the largest Publishing House in the world – «Springer Nature» - and entered the top of the most popular books. The Nobel Prize winner in Economics John Nash and other famous foreign scientists have praised this monograph. In addition, it has been included in the authoritative international database of leading scientific publications «Web of Science Core Collection».

The scientific work aroused keen interest among specialists and participants of the Conference, who highlighted the relevance, versatility and applied nature of the study for the fields of Economics, Finance and Budgeting.
