«Parasat» Trade Union of workers of Al-Farabi KazNU has supported the republican charity event «The Way to School» and handed out portfolios and school supplies to future first-graders.

This action initiated by the administration and the Trade Union of the University has been held for the third year and it has become a good tradition. This year, the Trade Union allocated 1.5 million tenge to targeted social assistance for employees needing support, whose children will go to the first grade. More than 200 first-graders have received the most necessary things - briefcases, notebooks, pens, pencils, pencil cases, watercolors, drawing albums and other school supplies. In addition, the Trade Union provided 800 thousand tenge to subsidize the acquisition of vouchers in school camps to children in the summer period.

It should be noted that in the past academic year, the «Parasat» Trade Union of KazNU’s workers allocated more than 7.2 tenge to provide material assistance to the University staff and 12 million tenge to subsidize sanatorium treatment.
