An advanced training courses entitled «Environment Radioactivity Monitoring-2019» for nuclear industry workers was held on the basis of Al-Farabi KazNU and the Institute of Nuclear Physics, the event was jointly organized with the Japan Atomic Energy Agency.

The program of courses includes basic knowledge of nuclear physics, nuclear energy, radiochemistry and radioecology.

The specialists of the M. Sklodovskaya-Curie Laboratory of Radiation Ecology Sh.N. Nazarkulova, I.V. Matveeva, B.S. Satybaldiev, E.Yu. Spring, N.A. Nursapina, T.B. Abishev as well as specialists of the Institute of Nuclear Physics M.V. Krasnoperova, M.S. Mukhortov, D.S. Kim, J.K. Kerimkulov, including invited experts from Japan, Nobuo Shinohara and Masanori Takeyasu have read lectures during the courses.

After successful completion of the event, participants have been awarded with certificates of advanced training.
