Delegation of Universiti Teknologi Malaysia visited Al-Farabi Kazakh National University on 28 July, 2010 . The delegation included following officials:

Professor, Dr. Mohd Azraai Kassim, Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic and International);

Associate Professor, Dr. Nordin Yahaya, Deputy Director, Academic Marketing;

Alumni of Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (scholar of “Bolashak” program);

Within the frame of the visit the parties discussed issues of developing bilateral relations between both universities, the possibility of implementation of the student exchange programs in future, collaboration in sphere of education and also creating international research centers.

Al-Farabi Kazakh National University was represented at the meeting by:

Vice Rector for Academic Affairs Murat Orunkhanov;

Acting Director of International Cooperation Department Mukhtar Bolatkhan;

Vice Dean of Biology Faculty Adil Erezhepov.
