Scientists of the Faculty of Physics and Technology of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University are implementing the project "Organization of production of a wide range of carbon nanostructured materials." Nanomaterials are a new topic today. Due to its wide range of applications, it is dominated by both interest and demand in the world. And what are the goals of our scientists through the implementation of this project? What is the effectiveness of this project? Today, with the participation of the project manager Daniyar Ismailov, we would like to introduce readers to this research work.

On the eve of the celebration of Nauryz, by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Chairman of the Board - Rector of the Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi Zhanseit Kanseituly Tuymebayev was awarded the Order of "Barys" II degree.

Environmental pollution, loss of biodiversity, irrational use of natural resources are those acute and urgent problems that are on the agenda of all countries of the world, and Kazakhstan is no exception. The national project "Zhasyl Kazakhstan" is aimed at creating a favorable living environment for the inhabitants of the country and improving the environmental situation.

Far from being an idle and not a rhetorical question: what reasons become factors in the birth and long-term formation of glorious labor, creative dynasties, from which, on the whole, the whole people, the whole country benefits, because the traditions that develop in such a family community are qualitatively special, unique, it is an alloy spiritual continuity, family precepts and principles, moral education, responsibility, taken over by children from their parents, which ultimately lead to an excellent result - labor achievements of national importance. 

Chairman of the Board - Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuymebayev held a meeting with directors of research institutes as part of a project on the integration of education and science. The main purpose of the meeting is to strengthen the educational and scientific potential.

Al-Farabi Kazakh National University celebrated the onset of spring by organizing “Korisu kuni” - a bright and cheerful event that marked the onset of Nauryz.

The QUAT POINT charging station is a device for charging electric vehicles. The technology for the production of charging stations was developed in 2015. Since 2017, more than 50 QUAT POINT stations have been installed in Kazakhstan. To date, a patent for a charging station is supported.

For thirty years of Independence, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University has become a flagship among Kazakhstani higher educational institutions. KazNU scientists have enriched domestic science with new, truly fundamental research. Trips of our scientists abroad, invitations of foreign scientists to give lectures have become commonplace. During this time, the university has trained hundreds of PHD doctors, scientists of the new formation of our independent country. 

Within the framework of cooperation and implementation of joint educational projects, undergraduates of KazNU named after Al-Farabi undergo research practice at universities in Turkey.
