Al-Farabi Kazakh National University has sent books and a Kazakh yurt to the Al-Farabi Historical and Cultural Center in Damascus (Syria).

Chairman of the Management Board - Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev held a meeting with Director General of CNPC in Central Asia and Russia Bian Dezhi. Proposals on bilateral cooperation were discussed at the meeting.

The Al-Farabi Kazakh National University hosts the International Farabi Forum "Philosophy of Language and the Language of Philosophy of Abu Nasr al-Farabi", dedicated to the 30^th anniversary of the Al-Farabi Center.

Speaking at a joint session of the Parliament with the new composition of the Mazhilis, the Head of State in his Address gave a brief analysis of the situation in the country, informed about the implementation of the tasks outlined by him in the historic March Address to the people of Kazakhstan 2022 and in the election platform "Fair Kazakhstan is for Everyone".

The publishing house "Kazakh Universiteti" of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University took part in the traditional "Almaty Book Fair" on the Square of Sh. Ualikhanov.

The Al-Farabi Kazakh National University hosted an international scientific and practical conference on the topic "The Scientific Heritage of Professor Yuri Grigoryevich Basin and the Development of Civil Law", dedicated to the 100^th anniversary of Professor Basin. 

The international scientific and practical conference "Margulan Readings - 2023", organized by the Institute of Archeology named after A. Margulan and the Committee of Science of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan jointly with the Historical Faculty of the University, has started at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

Chairman of the Board -Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev met with the President of the Turkic Academy Dr. Shahin Mustafayev.

The results of research and innovation activities for 2022 and the prospects for the development of the research university were announced at the Academic Council of the Al Farabi Kazakh National University.
